Jesus was a Jew, all the Apostles were Jews,and every writer of the New Testament books was Jewish (Luke partly so). The Old Testament books were recognized as scripture by all those early Christians and still is part of the Christian canon. Christianity is the true continuation of the ancient Jewish religion. To say otherwise is false. Christianity cannot be separated from its ancient Judaic roots.
